*Our Process*

One of the many reasons I love being a wedding photographer is getting to walk through the season of engagement with my couples. While the wedding is the end goal of an engagement, there are so many sweet things that you get to experience through this particular season. As a wedding photographer, I want my couples to slow down, savor these moments, and ultimately have a beautiful marriage and life together.

PLANNING

The moment you reach out we will make plans to grab coffee, wine, or chat over the phone. It is so important that you connect with your wedding photographer since they are the person you spend the most time with on your wedding day! I love getting to build a relationship with each of my couples. Hearing about your relationship, your vision for your wedding day, and about your priorities gives me a better idea of how to serve the two of you.

Let’s work together to create an engagement session that reflects you as a couple and your personalities! Whether it’s helping pick out outfits or scout locations, I love getting to work with couples to plan a session that feels like them. It’s my desire to create original portraits for the two of you to look back on and savor from your season of engagement. This time is so important because it’s practice being in front of the camera and working with me!

All of the planning and preparation leads up to this! My biggest desire on your wedding day is to serve you as a couple, your family, and your friends. To capture the moments that become memories. The ones that you’ll want to replay over and over again. I take an unrushed approach and I’m mindful to capture everything that’s needed, but I do so in a way that makes everyone feel natural in front of the camera.
